Fair weather will follow through Friday now that storms have migrated eastward
WEATHER STORY:
Tuesday night’s storms brought big rain and hail to towns along the Iron Range and through inland NW Wisconsin. The rest of us didn’t get much. Now, those storms are well to the east and calm weather has returned to our roost in the form of high air pressure. A cold front does have a slight chance for creating showers Wednesday night but otherwise high air pressure will indeed make it dry around here through Friday. Friday may get hot and that could help feed our next low which will bring us a rain chance from late Friday through Saturday.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT:
The front sagging down from Canada will create a 20% chance for Minnesota rain showers. Otherwise, the sky should be fairly clear for Wisconsin and Michigan. Low temps will be 48-56 in MN. They will be 50-55 for WI and MI. The wind will be NW 5-15 mph.
THURSDAY:
A cell of high air pressure will cause the sky to become sunny. Afternoon high temperatures will be 68-74 by Lake Superior. Inland, they will run 75-80. The wind will be NW 5-10 mph.
FRIDAY:
The high will keep the sky stay sunny. Morning low temperature will be near 60 degrees. The afternoon high temp will place between 85-90. The normal is near 78. The wind will be S 5-15 mph 5-10 mph.
COMING UP:
Saturday should be stormy with low 65 and high 77. Sunday should be partly sunny with low 57 and high 70. Monday may be showery with low 55 and high 75. Tuesday could be showery, too, with low 55 and high 78. Next Wednesday will be mostly sunny with low 55 and high 80.
