Volunteers baking in bulk for Taste of Greece
DULUTH, MN -- Prep work is in full swing at Marshall School in Duluth as volunteers get ready for this weekend’s Taste of Greece Festival.
12 Holy Apostles Greek Church in Duluth has been hosting this event annually for almost 30 years.
Church volunteers craft and serve a wide variety of Greek food, from baked goods to kebabs.
“The Taste of Greece has been one of the most delicious events of summer in Duluth,” said co-chair Kate Patronas.
These festivities will include multiple dance performances from several different groups.
The festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The proceeds will go to the 12 Holy Apostles Parish, as well as several different local charities.
