DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) -

Friday: For the vast majority of the daytime hours today we are dry, but there are a few scattered showers out, and about that, you may have to dodge here and there. Temperatures today climb into the mid and upper 80s away from the lake, with most in the 70s along the lake shore. Late this evening is when we begin to see changes around 8:00, a line of showers and storms will start to advance from west to east through the early morning hours on Saturday. This line of showers of storms also brings the best threat of severe weather today. The further west you are, the higher your risk of severe weather. The biggest threats with any severe storms we do see would be large hail and damaging winds. Temperatures tonight fall into the 50s by the lake and 60s further inland.

Saturday: Saturday, we wake up with leftover showers and storms, but it looks like they will become more scattered in nature through the morning. Through the afternoon, we see some clearing and possibly even some sunshine for the evening and before sunset Saturday night. Temperatures Saturday climb into the 70s for most.

We see improving conditions through Saturday afternoon.

Sunday: A few stray showers here and there Sunday cannot be ruled out; however, I suspect a vast majority of the day is spent dry with partly to mostly cloudy skies overhead. Temperatures are cooler, only in the 60s and lower 70s across the area.

We are dodging a few stay showers for Sunday.
