City by City: Gary New Duluth, Hermantown, Wrenshall

Gary New Duluth - The Gary New Duluth Development Alliance has announced the launch of its new website. The site showcases the Alliance’s plan to continue to revitalize Gary New Duluth by building the GND Community Center and Recreation Area. The site provides a fun and easy way for the community to learn more about the GND REC activities and events, get involved and receive updates on future plans.

Hermantown - A heads up to those traveling through Hermantown. Crews with CN Railway are doing some maintenance work that will close Midway Road in the Adolph neighborhood. Just 0.2 miles south of U.S. Highway 2. Midway will be closed at this crossing from June 27 to July 1. Traffic will be redirected to St. Louis River Road and U.S. Highway 2 in the meantime.

Wrenshall - While it seems that summer is just getting started in Northern Minnesota, Wrenshall’s Free Range Film Festival has already made its harvest. The 2022 schedule of moving pictures has been released, and all have been certified to screen inside a century-old barn in the middle of an organic farm country. There will be a local food truck and live music!
