TODAY: Showers and storms will continue to move out of the region through the early morning hours as a cold front passes through the Northland. The cold front will help push the heat away for most of the Northland, but areas in Wisconsin and UP will continue to see hot and humid conditions. Highs for most of Wisconsin and UP will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s with heat indexes even higher. Otherwise, most of the Northland will see slightly cooler highs in the lower to mid 80s. Dewpoints will slowly decrease through the day helping to mitigate the humidity. The day will start out overcast then eventually become mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Winds will also be breezy from the west between 10-20 mph.

TONIGHT: A few clouds will linger, but overall the night sky will be mostly clear with much cooler lows compared to the previous night. Lows will fall to the mid to upper 50s. Winds will continue to be breezy from the west between 10-25 mph. Another cold front will begin to move through helping to decrease both temperatures and dewpoints even more. After that, high pressure will begin to move in bringing in more dry and cool air from the northwest.

WEDNESDAY: Once high pressure moves in, sunshine will return for all of the Northland by midweek with seasonal highs in the mid to upper 70s. Winds will change direction to the northwest at a calmer rate between 5-15 mph. Lows will fall to the mid 50s Wednesday night. More chances of showers and storms are possible Thursday night and Friday with warmer highs before we cool back down to seasonal during the weekend.
