June 21, update: Repairs to the 911 service are complete.

911 service is again operational in the Cook and affected areas.

As of 4:30 p.m., St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office has reported a 911 outage in the Cook area.

Officials say this could affect both landlines and cell phones.

Service technicians are en route to repair the outage, but no word on how long the outage will last.

If you need to report an emergency and your landline or cell phone does not work in this area you can respond to the Cook Fire/Ambulance Hall located at 111 2nd Street Southeast in Cook to report your emergency.
