Hibbing, MN- Before the Wall that Heals Vietnam Veterans Memorial opens in Chisholm June 23, the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota will be hosting a free concert. Minnesota-based band the Fabulous Armadillos will be playing their “What’s Going On? Songs from the Vietnam Era” show at the Hibbing High School Auditorium. No tickets are required, admission is free and show starts at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 20.

Chisholm, MN- The Minnesota Discovery Center in partnership with Fairview is hosting the 2nd annual Youth Mental Health Night. There will be more than 20 mental health vendors, live music, food and prizes. Professional hockey players will be there and Ride MN will perform their Mega Jump Motivational Experience. The event is Wednesday, June 22, and free to attend. It aims to promote healthy living strategies while breaking down the stigma of mental health struggles.

Grand Marais, MN- Coming soon, the 2nd annual Taste of the Trail Picnic Adventure in Cook County. Hosted by the North Shore Health Care Foundation the event supports the Justine Kerfoot Memorial Endowment Fund. The culinary journey takes participants up the Gunflint trail eating along the way. Stops will be made at Fisherman’s Daughter & Dockside Fish Market, Trail Center, the Poplar Haus and ending at the Gunflint Lodge. Money raised supports grants for local programs that contribute to health care, health living and emergency services in Cook County. Join the event, Sunday, June 26.
