Red Flag Warning issued: High risk of rip currents June 13-14
DULUTH, MN– The Duluth Fire Department issued a warning for dangerous swimming conditions for Park Point beaches effective immediately, June 13.
The warning is in effect until 10 a.m. June 14.
High winds near the beach create dangerous wave conditions which could be life-threatening to swimmers.
Officials say to stay out of the water regardless of your swimming experience and wait for warnings to expire before entering the water.
Red flags are flying along the beach to indicate dangerous swimming conditions.
