DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) - June has arrived, and soon kids will be out for the summer.

Often times parents struggle with what to do with kids at home.

In this week’s Eye on Lifestyle, Nikki Karnowski of Metamorphosis Coaching, Consulting, and Training joined Natalie Grant on CBS 3 This Morning to share some fun ideas on engaging your kids and having your best summer vacation yet!

According to Karnowski, step number one of a fun summer is to be intentional. You can do this by writing a bucket list of things they would like to do during the summer and scheduling times to do it.

The second tip is to have some structure for the first part of your day. Some kids thrive on structure, whether that is a list of chores or a breakfast routine. It also instills responsibility at a young age.

You can tune in every Monday at 6 a.m. on CBS 3 This Morning for more lifestyle tips.
