Much quieter heading into the weekend
DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) -
Today: We are out of the woods now when it comes to showers and thunderstorms. We start our day with mostly cloudy skies overhead but dry. Today, skies are clearing giving way to mostly sunny skies as we head towards this afternoon. Temperatures climb into the 70s with the exception of the coast along the arrowhead, thanks to a lake breeze in place up there. Tonight, mostly clear skies stick around as temperatures fall back into the upper 40s and low to mid-50s.
Saturday: Saturday looks like another nice one with partly to mostly sunny skies overhead. Temperatures are again warmer, climbing into the 60s and 70s across the Northland. There is the stray threat of a shower or storm in the afternoon, but most should stay dry.
Sunday: Sunday features a few more clouds with partly to mostly cloudy skies overhead and another shot at a shower or two; however, I suspect most should stay dry. Temperatures are a tad cooler as well, with most in the upper 60s and some lower 70s.
