UMD Baseball sweeps Mustangs on annual mental health awareness game

DULUTH, MN. (CBS3 Duluth) - Just when it finally started to feel like spring, the UMD Baseball team hosted their final regular season series of the year taking on Southwest Minnesota State in a double header at Wade Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs took game one, 10-7 in annual their mental health awareness game and were looking for a sweep in game two.
The Bulldogs’ bats wouldn’t get loose until the 4th. UMD went onto sweep SMSU by a score of 8-6. They cap off their regular season this weekend at Bemidji State.
