Soggy end to April
DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) -
Thursday: We start our Thursday on a nicer note. When most wake up and head out for their morning commute, we’ll see partly to mostly sunny skies overhead. Over the rest of the day, clouds are increasing, giving way to partly to mostly cloudy skies as we head towards this evening. We see a few stray pop-up rain showers throughout the evening hours. Temperatures today climb into the upper 30s and lower 40s closer to the lake, upper 40s and low 50s away.
Tonight: Through the overnight, mostly cloudy skies prevail; however, once again, scattered showers here and there dot the map. Our northern locations could see a little bit of wintery mix through the overnight hours, but it does not look to accumulate that much. Nonetheless, some roads could be slick come Friday morning. With the mostly cloudy skies overhead, temperatures don’t fall back all that much, only falling back into the mid and upper 30s and lower 40s. Winds are out of the east between 5-10 MPH.
Friday: Friday features mostly cloudy skies with scattered off and on rain showers throughout the day. Temperatures climb into the 40s close to the lake and 50s further inland; some may hit 60, especially in the southern portion of the region. Winds are out of the southeast between 5-10 MPH.
Coming Up: We are tacking more rain for the weekend. Is it a washout? Meteorologist Peter Kvitkauskas will have the forest on CBS 3 This Morning. Join Us!
