The 40s return for most...
DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) -
Today: Sunshine arrives for all today, but warmer temperatures only arrive for some. With mostly sunny skies overhead, temperatures climb into the 40s further inland. Closer to the lake, thanks to wind out of the east, between 5-10 MPH off the lake, they are stuck in the mid and upper 30s.
Tonight: Clouds are increasing through the overnight hours, which will help keep us warmer than where we started off our day on Wednesday. With partly to mostly cloudy skies overhead, temperatures fall back into the mid and upper 20s and lower 30s across the Northland. Winds are out of the east between 5-10 MPH.
Thursday: Clouds continue to increase through the first part of our Thursday. Those clouds will give way to scattered rain showers for the afternoon and possibly some wintry mix for some through the evening hours. Rain and wintry mix accumulations look to remain fairly light all across the Northland. Once again, Winds are out of the east and off the lake, meaning we’re stuck in the 30s close to the lake with the 40s further inland.
Coming up: We are looking at a more potent rain threat as we head towards the weekend. Meteorologist Peter Kvietkauskas will have the extended forecast on CBS 3 This Morning. Joins us!
