DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) - A group of UMD students and animal lovers are coming together next week for a special exhibit and fundraising event.

The Cause for Paws Fundraising Event and Exhibition is happening Tuesday, April 26, from 4-6 p.m. at the Tweed Museum of Art.

It is being put on by students in UMD’s Senior Design Studio 2 class and features artwork for sale from Duluth artists, students, and some furry friends.

Fundraiser Organizers and UMD students Ginger Leonard and Emily Prigge stopped by CBS 3 This Morning to talk about the event.

“We all love animals, and I think we all have pets, so I think it was a no-brainer for us to raise money to help them out,” said Leonard.

The exhibition will remain open at the Tweed Museum from April 26 to May 6.
