Storm comes to a close with snow today
DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) -
Thursday: Most, if not all, have made the change over to all snow by Thursday morning. Snow Continues through the bulk of our Thursday and could be heavy at times, escpailly across portions of northern Minnesota. Winds are out of the WSW at times, gusting up to 30 MPH. The heaviest snow totals are across the International Border and Iron Range, where they could pick up to2-5″, with areas further south seeing a T-2″.
Tonight: Snow becomes more scattered in nature and begins to wind down with a few leftover snow flurries overhead temperatures fall back into the teens in many places across Minnesota, while northwest Wisconsin sees temperatures that fall back into the 20s. Winds are out of the west between15-20 MPH.
Friday: A few leftover flurries could linger for our Friday morning; otherwise, mostly cloudy skies prevail as temperatures climb into the upper 20s and lower 30s.
