Rain continues before changing to snow tonight
DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) -
Today: Through the rest of our day, rain continues with gusty winds, at times gusting upwards of 50 MPH, primarily through the morning hours and around the head of the lake. Temperatures climb into the upper 30s and lower 40s across the Northland. Another .25-.75″ of rain is possible. We see some dry moments through the overnight hours, but as we head towards early Thursday morning, we see the rain turn over to all snow.
Thursday: Most, if not all, have made the change over to all snow by Thursday morning. Snow Continues through the bulk of our Thursday and could be heavy at times, escpailly across portions of northern Minnesota. Winds are out of the WSW at times, gusting up to 30 MPH. The heaviest snow totals are across the International Border and Iron Range, where they could pick up to 4-8 and 2-4″, respectively, with areas further south seeing a T-2″.
Friday: Scattered snow continues early, with just a chance for snow into the early afternoon. Winds remain gusty early, with highs in the 20s and 30s. Lows will be in the teens for many locations.
