DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) - The Aad Shrine Circus returns to Duluth for three performances this weekend at Amsoil Arena, and they’re celebrating a 100-year milestone.

The first Aad Shrine Circus occurred in 1922, making this Duluth’s longest-running event.

This year, the big change at the Shrine Circus is that they will no longer be using exotic animals during shows.

The circus made that announcement earlier this year, saying they wanted to focus on the ‘thrill.’

Attendees can now expect to see more motorcycle tricks, trapeze artists, high-wire acts, and more.

‘Pepper’ the clown stopped by CBS 3 This Morning on Friday to share what fans can expect this weekend.

The Aad Shrine Circus has three performances this weekend at Amsoil Arena.

Saturday shows are at 1:00 and 6:00 p.m., and on Sunday, the show is art at 1:00 p.m.

You can get your tickets now at Super One Foods for a $5.00 discount or buy them at the door the day of the performance.
