Bulldogs sweep series on home opener

DULUTH, MN. (CBS3 Duluth) - The UMD Softball team opened up NSIC play on Tuesday in St. Cloud, where they dropped both games in the double-header; however, it was a different story on Friday afternoon.
The Bulldogs hosted UMary for their home opener, where they bounced back in a dominating ‘Dog fashion. The first game rounded out at 10-1, while the second game ended at 10-3.
The team is now 2-2 in conference play and hosts Minot State on Saturday for another NSIC doubleheader.
