DULUTH, MN -- It usually takes an ensemble to put on a live theatre production, but at UMD throughout March 15, performers are taking the stage solo.

UMD’s latest production consists of one-person original and adapted plays. It’s called “Flying Solo.”

The 15-minute plays are autobiographical, fictional or literary adaptations, each performed by only one person.

Two of the featured performers, Isabelle Hopewell and Olivia Nelson, joined Jenna Wells Thursday on CBS 3 This Morning to explain more about the creative process.

“Flying Solo” has several different performance dates throughout the month of March, all at the Marshall Performing Arts Center.

There are performances March 3-5 and March 16-19 at 7:30 p.m.

There is also a matinee opportunity on March 20 at 2 p.m.
