DULUTH, MN. (KBJR) - Two armed robberies in a matter of minutes Tuesday night on East Superior Street.

According to Duluth Police, the first happened around 7:30 p.m. at Walgreens, and the other across the street at Jimmy John’s.

Employees say they were threatened by a man with a knife who demanded money and then took off.

No one was hurt.

Police responded to the area and searched nearby with help of a K9.

They found and arrested a 25-year-old Duluth man, after he was identified by the victims.

He’s behind bars, facing two armed robbery charges.

There was another armed robbery in that area Monday night at CVS Pharmacy.

Investigators are working to determine if that was committed by the same suspect.
