Arrowhead Region, MN- Local health agencies are saying thank you to healthcare workers next week. Project Blue Light honors those who have been working on the front lines throughout the pandemic. Starting Monday, January 24, and running through the end of the month, businesses and individuals are asked to turn on blue lights as a show of support and thanks. Those participating are asked to share their light on social media with the hashtag #thankyouwithblue
McGregor, MN- The McGregor Lions Club have once again put out their Senior Fish House, this year on Big Sandy Lake. The ice fishing house is available for use by those 62 and older or those with disabilities. The house is heated and holes are drilled. The club just wants people to get out and enjoy fishing! Wisconsin- The state is looking for resident input on the future of transportation across the state. WisDOT has been researching for their Connect 2050 plan since 2020 and there are just a few days left to comment on the plan draft. Connect 2050 hopes to provide the vision and goals that will guide statewide transportation systems over the next 30 years. The comment period closes Monday, January 24.
