Mercer, WI- Trail Report from Mercer Area Sno-goers:

“Snowmobiling in Southern Iron County is doing amazing so far into the year! Our trails are flat and the Turtle Flambeau Flowage is looking amazing for your day on the Flowage ride! All of our trails are rated great to excellent condition! We are now groomed through all swamps except 182B to Price County and 8A at Beaver Pond. We would like to remind everyone that tomorrow Saturday, January 15th is our 15th Annual Winter Blast at the Groomer Barn in Mercer, WI,” Iron County Youth Representative, Hana Joustra.

Food, beverages, raffles, etc. beginning at 8 a.m. and running until noon.

Chisholm, MN- Trail Report from Chisholm Pathblazers:

“The PathBlazers Snowmobile Club of Chisholm, Hibbing & Side Lake is happy to inform everyone that our trail network of 67 miles is groomed and in excellent riding condition. We have abundant snow on all of our trails from the Alborn Grade to Hibbing (with a small stretch of logging activity), from Hibbing to Chisholm, from Chisholm to Buhl and from Chisholm to the Side Lake Area where you can connect onto the great Taconite Trail. All trails are well signed for safety and for other location information. The PathBlazers Snowmobile Club of Chisholm, Hibbing and Side Lake maintain and groom 67 miles of trail and are proud to provide excellent trails for an enjoyable snowmobiling experience. You will find everything you need in our communities from lodging, gas, food, service and always a good dose of “Minnesota Nice, Iron Range Hospitality”. Cloquet, MN- Trail report from Wood City Riders:

“Our entire 60 mile trail system is open for use, and all of it has been groomed multiple times in the last 2 weeks. Adjoining Clubs are also grooming, setting up excellent loops for longer rides. Our Trails are all rated fair to good. The base is solid, but thin in areas and is not covering all rocks, sticks, etc so please ride with caution.

Ride right, ride safe, ride sober. Join a Club and Join in the Fun,” Wood City Riders Snowmobile Club.

Grand Portage, MN- Trail report from Dean Merillat :

Grand Portage features over 100 miles of trails and in the best condition, they’ve seen in years! All trails rated fair to good. Section 11 is closed for a skid steer on the trail. For weekly updates on conditions, click here.
