DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) -

Friday: We are waking up a mixed bag of temperatures, with some across the international border waking up to the teens below zero while the Twin ports are in the teens above zero. Thorugh the day, temperatures make it into the single digits and teens above zero across the Northland. Winds out of the east between 10-15 MPH means something different for everyone. Across the far northern Minnesota, that easterly wind means real feel windchill values of the single dights to teens below zero throughout the day. From the Twin Ports and up the North Shore, the wind out of the east and off Lake Superior means lake effect snow lingering through the day today. The Twin Ports could pick up 1-3″ of new lake effect snow while some places along the north shore up to about Silver Bay could see up to 2-6+” of lake effect snow.
