Thursday night: This will be the coolest night we have seen in a bit, with most falling back into the teens and single digits, some communities north of the Iron Range could go sub-zero as well. Mostly cloudy skies overhead prevail for most. Winds are out of the northeast between 5-10 MPH.

Friday: We are cooler, with most only making it into the teens for daytime highs with mostly cloudy skies overhead. A high-pressure system off to our north and east keeps a bigger clipper system at bay. Southwestern MN could see nearly a foot of snow out of the system, but here in the Northland, we will just be dealt some clouds for the day. Winds are ouf the east between 10-15 MPH, meaning points along the North shore cold see some lake effect amounting to between 1-3″ for most
