It was the first building in the state of Minnesota dedicated for use as a manual arts training facility. The building has since been deemed unsafe and the Rock Ridge Public School District is planning to have it demolished. The Minnesota Environmental Quality Board is taking comment on the demolition until February 3. For their public Environmental Assessment Worksheet, and public comment contact, click here.
