Minnesota- If the family is still wondering what to do over winter break, and loving all this fresh snow, the Minnesota Ski Areas Association’s 4th-grade passport might be a solution! Passports are only $35 and include at least two free lift tickets to more than a dozen ski hills around the state. Here in our area, Chester Bowl and Giants Ridge are offering unlimited lift passes. Iron County, WI- Good news for winter enthusiasts out there. The Iron County Forestry and Parks Department announced Monday that the snowmobile and winter ATV/UTV trail will reopen for the season at 8 a.m. Wednesday, December 29. The trails closed earlier this month due to unseasonably warm temps and rain. For updated trail conditions, click here.

Hibbing, MN- The Hibbing Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to get together Wednesday, January 5 at 7:45 a.m. Residents are invited to gather at the Hibbing Chamber Office for coffee and Conversations. There will be free coffee and pastries served. The chamber is hosting the event to network with the community and hear from residents as we start the new year.
