Finland, MN- For years, the area surrounding Finland State Park has been in desperate need of reforestation. This year, a Minnesota-based retailer has stepped up and given the North Shore the help it needs. From the summertime to last week, Rockler Woodworking and Hardware along with the Minnesota DNR planted 78,000 across 95 acres of forest. Along with the new trees, Rockler contributed a donation of $50,000 to the Hardwood Forestry Fund; an organization that has planted over 4,000,000 trees to date.
