Duluth, MN- The library is extending its hours to host insurance help clinics. The deadline to sign up for MNsure health insurance is December 15 for insurance that starts January 1. In order to help people reach that deadline, the Duluth Public Library and Insure Duluth Coalition are hosting extra hours on Saturdays to answer questions and get people enrolled. The clinics will be held starting Saturday, December 4 through January 15 with breaks for Christmas and New Years Day.

Cloquet, MN- A local elementary school is getting in the holiday spirit on December 4. Churchill Elementary school will be hosting their 13th annual Holiday Expo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day officially starts at 8 a.m. however with the Boy Scouts Pancake feed. From 9-11 admission is 5 dollars and after 11, it is free for all to attend! All proceeds from the event will go toward the local Partners in Education for field trips and school supplies.

Bayfield, WI- Local students participated in the Jerseys for Jackson memorial event Friday. Eight-year-old Jackson Sparks was the youngest victim of the Christmas parade massacre in Waukesha almost two weeks ago. He was a baseball player and his mom asked that people remember his life by wearing a baseball jersey or any sports jersey on December 3. Her post caught national attention with people across the country participating, including the Milwaukee Brewers.
