WEATHER STORY:

Another Alberta Clipper is clip-clopping through the Northland Monday evening. It has delivered a dusting to two inches of snow to many Minnesota towns during the daylight hours. It will probably do the same to Wisconsin and the U.P. during the evening. That will be followed by partial clearing on Tuesday. The clouds will fill back in on Wednesday from yet another clipper. That one may make for a rain and snow mix. Other highlights for the week ahead includes a shot at flurries again on Friday and a cool down that may strike on Saturday.

MONDAY NIGHT:

The sky will be mostly cloudy as the current Alberta Clipper low pressure systems snakes through the Upper Midwest. The snow chance will be 30% for Wisconsin and Michigan. Snow totals there may approach the one to two inch mark. The low temp will run from 25-30 for a lot of towns. The wind will be WNW 5-15 mph.

TUESDAY:

The sky will be partly sunny because we’ll be in between clippers. The afternoon high will be 29-38. The wind will be NW 10-20 mph.

WEDNESDAY:

The next clipper system will bring back mostly cloudy conditions. The chance for a rain and snow mix stands at 30%. If those low odds pay off, snow totals for most towns will run only a trace to two inches. There may be a stripe, though, from the Twin Ports to Hibbing that may hit 2-4″. The morning low will be 20. The daytime high will be 39. The wind will be W 10-20 mph.

COMING UP:

Thursday should be cloudy but dry. Friday gets another flurry chance. Saturday will be the starting line for a cool down. Monday to Friday highs will be 32-39. Monday to Friday lows will be 20-27. Saturday will be partly sunny. Highs then to Monday will go 23-29. The lows will drop to a range of 12-15.
