Chilly Friday with light snow possible for Saturday
Quiet conditions continue into Friday with chilly temperatures for Black Friday shopping. Highs for the afternoon only climb into the upper 20s as we sit under mostly cloudy skies with a few flurries likely in northern Minnesota.. Winds will be out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. Lows overnight drop into the teens.
A few snow showers will be possible during the morning and early afternoon hours with mostly cloudy skies. Most areas in the Northland will likely see a trace to two inches before snow moves out later on Saturday. Highs will climb to near freezing for the afternoon with winds out of the northwest at 10-15 mph. Some lake enhancement will be possible along the eastern portions of the South Shore, where over two inches of snow could be possible through early Sunday.
A few lingering snow showers will be around for some on Sunday, otherwise, most of the day we’ll be under quiet conditions. We’ll see partly sunny skies with chilly highs in the low 30s. Winds will be breezy out of the northwest at 5-15 mph. Lows overnight drop into the teens and low 20s.
Another quick clipper system looks to move in late on Sunday through Monday morning with light accumulation possible. Highs for the afternoon will climb into the upper 30s with a south wind at 5-15 mph. Lows overnight drop into the teens.
