DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) - The cold weather did not keep runners from participating in this year’s Gobble Gallop in Duluth.

The 5K runners began their race down Superior Street Thursday morning.

The 16th annual Gobble Gallop is hosted by Duluth Running Company.

Hundreds showed up to the race, and some even ran in festive Turkey Day entire.

Before the 5K, there was a one-mile and quarter-mile race for the younger runners out there.

A portion of the proceeds from the Gobble Gallop goes toward Second Harvest Food Bank.
