Slight rain/snow mix chance Wednesday should be gone by Thanksgiving
A warm front brought warmth and sunshine on Tuesday but both will go away soon. Clouds will increase Tuesday night as a western low pressure system gets closer to us. On Wednesday, there will be a 20% chance for a rain and snow mix from those clouds. On Thanksgiving Thursday, the warmer than normal temperatures of Tuesday and Wednesday will be replaced by much cooler conditions. They in turn will give way to a return to normal late November conditions eventually.
The sky will become mostly cloudy as the western low gets closer and closer. The overnight low temperature will run a range of 22-30 which is warmer than normal. The wind will be S 5-15 mph.
The low pressure system will be here to keep the sky mostly cloudy. The chance for a rain and snow mix in the afternoon and evening is only 20%. If those low odds pay off, precip totals should stay under an inch. The afternoon high will be warmer than normal once again and place between 32 and 42. The wind will be SSE 5-15 mph.
High pressure from the northwest will push in behind the departing low to clear the sky and cool the temperatures. Thanksgiving should be mostly sunny. The low temp will start with a brisk 12. The high will only go to 22. The wind will be NW 10-20 mph.
Shopper’s Friday will be cool, too, with a low of 8 and a high of 25. By the time we bump into the weekend, though, things will return to normal. From Saturday to next Tuesday, we will have a partly sunny sky, lows from 18-23 and highs from 28-35.
