DULUTH, MN. (CBS 3 Duluth) - More than 45 vendors brought their holiday cheer and deals to Clyde Iron Works on Sunday.

The event’s entry fee and profits from a holiday raffle went towards the Ronald McDonald House Northland, which opened in February 2021.

“We’re also doing raffles to promote the Ronald McDonald House so each vendor has given an item to donate to the auction or the raffle and you can purchase raffle tickets. All those proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House in the Northland,” Organizer Amber Brostrom said.

Vendors like Jenn Moses of Beauty Counter said the ability to give back and have customers shop locally is extra special this holiday season.

“Anybody that’s here you know those are dollars that stay in our community and go to support our fellow community members. So, you’re giving money to families that are buying cars locally and buying groceries locally and paying for programs for their kids,” Moses said.

Both Moses and Brostrom organized the event and planned for 20 vendors, but received an overwhelming response that doubled their event size with 49 total vendors, marking it a success for everyone involved.

“I would love to keep doing this, I know some vendors have asked about doing a Valentine’s one going into the spring so stay tuned,” Brostrom said.
