Stone Lake, WI- The Whistle Punk Bar continues to rally the community behind a good cause. Earlier this fall, the Stone Lake bar partnered with Lungevity on a charity 5K. On Friday, Nov. 19, they will continue this partnership, as they hope to shine a light on lung cancer with a luminary walk. Participants who offer a five dollar donation will be given a luminary bag. The walk will start at 6 p.m. and will go down the boardwalk through the Stone Lake marsh.

Ashland, WI- The Ashland Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Merchants are encouraging everyone to shop local this holiday season, and shoppers in downtown Ashland will have the opportunity to win money doing so. Ashland’s “Shop Small Win Big” initiative kicks off on Thursday, Nov. 18, and runs all the way through January 21. Three people who choose Ashland small businesses for their holiday shopping will be awarded $250. For more information on “Shop Small Win Big,” click here.
