911 outage impacting AT&T cell customers near Hibbing

HIBBING, MN -- An outage is impacting AT&T customers’ 911 calls in the Hibbing area.
As of Tuesday evening, anyone with an AT&T cell phone needing to contact 911 from the Hibbing area will need to do so from a land line or a cell phone with an alternate carrier.
The Sheriff’s Office said they are aware of the issue.
No word on when the repairs are expected to be made.
