'Water Protectors' members due in court in October
Enbridge Line Three Pipeline protesters gathered on the steps of the St. Louis County Courthouse in Duluth Friday.
The group called Water Protectors showed their support for three men arrested in January for civil disobedience during a protest where the men chained themselves to the downtown Wells Fargo.
The bank is a known investor in Enbridge.
It is also investing 70 billion dollars in clean technology and other environmentally sustainable businesses.
The January protest called for Wells Fargo to divest from fossil fuels and Enbridge.
The protectors appeared in court today for a pre-trial hearing.
The three men have a trial date set for October 19th.
