Stay of adjudication in electronic solicitation of minor case
A man charged with electronic solicitation of a minor was given a stay of adjudication on Monday in St. Louis County court.
Joshua Stewart, 36, is under probation for the next five years, after being charged in August of 2017 for allegedly sending sexually explicit photos to a young girl.
Stewart was said to be engaging in the illegal activity with a girl authorities say he believed was 14-years-old.
Officials add the suspect allegedly made multiple comments and sent sexually explicit photos to the girl, even making arrangements to meet her in the 300 Block of East 1st St. in Duluth, where he was arrested.
A stay of adjudication means Stewart's case is pending while he is on probation.
Once probation is over the case could be dismissed.
