Barrett Anderson joins CBS 3 Duluth in the sports department as the Monday - Friday 6 and 10 pm anchor.  Anderson received her bachelor's degree in professional journalism at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. 
She grew up a suburb outside the Twin Cities. Since she was young, Barrett has loved storytelling. By the time she reached high school, she developed a passion for journalism and served as an editor of the high school paper and anchored morning news casts. Simultaneously, Barrett started an internship at KFAN Sports Radio with the Common Man Program. During the three years at KFAN, Barrett primarily worked for Paul Allen's show. 
During Barrett's time in college, she worked for Gopher Digital Productions, B1G Ten Network Student U, Channel 12 Sports as a sideline reporter for prep football, and she completed two internships at KSTP in the sports department and at Twin Cities Live. 
When Barrett isn't actively chasing sports stories for CBS 3 Duluth, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones. She loves be active and workout, attend concerts, events, and sports games with family and friends.
