Edward landed his first TV job (a nationally syndicated kids newscast) at the ripe age of 10. There he was in his little suit and penny loafers (pennies inserted of course) hosting segments and interviewing the likes of Caroline Kennedy and Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf. It was the beginning of a glorious addiction he just couldn't shake!
His "adult" career is grounded in 15+ years as an Emmy Award winning/nominated News Anchor/Reporter. He once heard that you can never hate someone if you know their story, and he has found that to be true. Our stories, no matter how awful or extraordinary, connect us. From reporting on the Red Lake School shooting to anchoring live from Super Bowl Village in Indianapolis, Edward has learned that news can be informative, trans-formative and sometimes entertaining, and that’s why he keeps doing it.
Edward left Duluth in 2007 after 5 years at KBJR to pursue “the dream.” He has been an Anchor/Reporter in Rochester, NY, Indianapolis, IN and Minneapolis, MN (WCCO-TV). It’s been the journey of a lifetime that, through love and learning, brought Edward back to where he started. Edward is happy to be back, and he can’t wait to take all of you on some new journeys across the Northland.
