Colin Oraskovich has always had a life-long fascination with the weather.  Growing up in Waseca, Minnesota, he would often run outside to watch storms moving in and always return inside with numerous questions about how the atmosphere worked.  By the age of 8, his parents bought him his first weather book to aid in his unending curiosity about the sky.

That love and curiosity for the weather led Colin to study meteorology at Iowa State University.  After college he eventually joined a television station in Mankato, Minnesota where he was their weekend meteorologist for nearly three years.

When the opportunity to join the bran new CBS 3 station became available, Colin eagerly accepted the new weekday morning meteorologist position.  This move was further benefited by the fact that both of  Colin's parents were born and raised near Barnum.  During the numerous trips to their hometown over the years, Colin's parents would consistently discuss the Northland's weather and how dynamic and variable it can be.

Colin Oraskovich can be seen every weekday from 5-7 a.m. on CBS 3 Duluth where he is known for his "Weather On The 3's". His excitement to be part of a new and quickly growing morning show can easily be seen through his outgoing demeanor and he is eager to provide forecasts in one of the most dynamic weather environments in the United States.
